What does one have to do with the other? It doesn't cost THAT much to play. In fact where I play I get 2 guest passes a month. Since I have an extra racket I could invite someone to play and it wouldn't cost them anything.

So what is your point?

It costs a million to join a japanese golf club, for a year, apparently. This is because they cut the courses out from the mountains. Land is scarce there. Us peasant types have to use a projector screen with fake courses.
