Kyle Busch he rocks, but doesn't qualify, so go with Denny Hamlin.

Denny Hamlin should. He's the only rookie in the chase and has had a much better year than any of the others. The points should work out for him to take the Rookie of the Year award.

Without a doubt, Denny Hamlin.... The only rookie to EVER qualify for the chase. I think he will be the upset winner of the 2006 Nextel Cup. Carl Edwards last year, although was his first full year in cup, he was not eligible for rookie status due to running too many races in '04.

Denny Hamlin. He is the best rookie to come into the sport in a few years. To come out of the gate like he did is spectacular. He could have easily went the way of Jamie McMurray (win in 2nd start then so-so after that) but he is consistantly good. Not a flash in the pan. I look for Denny to win the championship within the next 2 years. Mark it down now. When it happens, you will all remember that insane girl on Yahoo Answers that said it!! LOL.

Denny Hamlin, hands down! That man has been doing so well! He is racing hard, keeping it cool, and ending races in great positions. Plus, the fact that he made it into the chase for the cup proves that he has talent. I think that he by far deserves the rookie of the year title, after a fabulous season of great driving! Go denny!!!!! #11 (and 20 in the busch series)!!!

Denny Hamlin has won two races and made the Chase. The only other rookie that is close is Clint Boywer and he is going to have to be really special over the last ten to be considered seriously.
