I'd of loved my folks giving me sex education! Had to learn by picking up bits and pieces from other students at school making comments. As long as your parents are telling you like it really is, instead of useing the lame story about one tree dropping a seed on another tree...................listen and learn. FEEL pride inside that your parents have the time to tell you.

They didn't teach me, nor did they allow me to take the classes at school. I had to sit in the principal's office while those classes were going on. So I turned off the curiosity for something that couldn't lead to any good news for me anyway. (That's how I thought back then.) Then some guys started a rumor about me being gay so I, hmm, how shall we say, used some of my kinesthetic learner's skills to learn about sex. One time was enough to turn me away from it till I met someone I thought I could stand to do that with again....
And the person below me indicates she has no STDs and isn't a whore, so I'd like to indicate the same.
Just don't do dumb stuff; sex is too precious and potentially life-ruining now.

I felt the same way when I was your age too but now that I am an adult, I never would have wanted it any other way. Don't be embarrased or be afraid to ask questions. Atleast you are getting good information so that whenever you are faced with these issues you will be well informed so you make the right decision. Use this as an opportunity to get close/closer to your parents.

when I was about 2 years old my mum was pregnant, I asked for an explanation and she told me the scientific details, I was not embarrassed at all, although I probably didn't understand it fully till many years later. When I was a teenager however I felt very embarrassed at any sex talk from my parents.
"Shut up mum, I do know how to read dad's magazines you know!"
