My daughter's 12 years old. Her face is oily and totally covered with pimples. Is there any way to reduce the pimples in a natural way considering her age?

Never pop the pimple, the truth is when you pop the pimples you are actually pushing the puss further down. Second off you should never wash your face more than two times a day, even if your face is extremely oily. Washing your face in excess can actually cause your face to create more oil to keep it from drying out. Which can lead to even more pimples. If your face is oily in between washes, use oil blotting sheets, you can get these at walgreens, walmart or any pharmacy. Clean and Clear makes the ones that I use. They don't mess up your makeup (if your a girl), they simply just soak up the excess oil on your face without drying it out. Some good over the counter treatments to try are Pro Active or Natures Cure. If these products don't work for you then you should consult a dermatologist. Also, avoiding fatty and greasy foods are also a idea, oh and avoid touching your face (you can transfer lots of bacteria, and oil by doing so). Good Luck

I have the same problem as her when I was teenage. I try to cut down a lot on fried and oily food. It does help. Also, try to use gel type instead of foam cleanser that will prevent acne or blemish skin. I have been using Derm10 (found in facial salon) for more than 3 years, and can see visible results in just a few weeks time. Good Luck!

p/s: do not use facial scrub as it will aggravate the pimples.

Do she likes oily food? in fact oily food does cos' a part for pimples. Dont use oil control film, use tissue, as the oil control film will even cos the face to give off more oil. try to drink plenty of water, keep the face clean, dont anyhow purchase oil control cream to apply cos' it might result in skin allergy or redness or even bigger pimples. you may bring her to consult doctors. but mainly will advice to take pills which will really helps on the pimples but it also will have side effects. it depends on what kind of medication is the doctor giving. most important is to keep the face clean and having a balance diet, plenty of fruits and water.

She must avoid touching & piercing her pimples, Garnier face wash is good. An ayurvedic syrup called "Safi" helps reduce pimples & clears all kinds of skin problems

First of all, stop taking oily food.., also.. stop or reduce taking non-veg food. Keep washing ur face every 2 hour. Do not apply any oily cream on overy ur face...then see the results within a week.

Have her drink lots of water and wash her face frequently. Also, surprisingly, moisturize! The use of acne prevention products can cause skin to become too dry, which prompts the oil glands to produce more oil trying to compensate.I find that using blotting tissues rather than layering more product after product helps, too.

Take her to the dermatologist so she doesn't develop acne scars like I did. Also, for oily skin buy her St. Ives Medicated-make sure its medicated-face wash. It's a really good face cleanser for oily skin and is very cheap. Make sure she is washing her face twice a day.
