...that some stores already have Christmas items on display?

Costco is ALWAYS the first store to display Christmas items. They usually put just one item on display towards the beginning of August every year.

It doesn't bother me at all. I love the Christmas season...already getting in the mood!

I worked at sears for 2 years selling appliances. Both years, everything was fine until Holloween. The day after, Nov. 1st, they would start playing Christmas music on the PA. Now, after 2 months of listening to "White Christmas" among other "classics", I was not much in the mood for Christmas when it actually came around.

Personally, I think they should wait until the beginning of Dec. to start with the Christmas stuff. As is, it is way over doing it .

Stores with Christmas displays in August don't bother me, but stores with Back to School displays in July get on my nerves a bit.

A local chain drug store had Halloween stuff out in August which is ridiculous and by labor day they had some Thanksgiving and a handful of Xmas items. I can understand Costco doing this early only because it's a members only warehouse.

I don't mind either, gives me a chance to buy and plan decorations.
Helps my budgeting too. A few items each week.

My daughters b'day is early September and every year I notice Xmas items in the stores the following week.

I can walk right by christmas displays same as I can walk right by any other displays. It is when they begin to play christmas music that I start going postal.

Nope. A lot of stores get ready ahead of time, so shoppers can be there early and start their shopping. Right now, stores should be getting ready for Halloween. But sometimes I see displays for Thanksgiving. They're skipped Halloweeen and way ahead of themselves.

Well, I'm not real crazy about it. Don't get me wrong I love Christmas, but I just think Thanksgiving gets a bum deal every year cuz everyone is already into Christmas.

No it doesn't.

By the way tell you some jokes:

-Doctor! I have a serious problem, I can never remember what i just said.
-When did you first notice this problem?
-What problem?

One more joke:

A guy calls his vet and says "What should I do with my cat?Vet says "What do you mean? Guy says "I had a leak in my lawnmowers gas tank and the cat drank the gas. Then the cat began to run around and around the yard, climbed a tree. then fell out of the tree stiff. Vet says "Is the cat dead? Guy replies "nope he ran out of gas.

Last of all just want to tell you that whatever you do, just don't give up. Also you must love and care for the people around you. In that way they will also show you the love that you show to them. Just be yourself and happy everyday. Wish you all the best and good luck!!
