if by this you mean

(cos(x)^2 - 3cos(x) + 2)/(sin(x)^2) = 1

x = (pi/3) or ((5pi)/3)

its closer to (pi/4 , pi/2), since there are 60 degrees between pi/6 and pi/2, and pi/4 to pi/2 only has 45 degrees difference.

check your first term of your question.
There is a missing number. is it cos^2 x ?
