Look, its like telling someone on the tube they have a bug on their clothes. they'll look puzzled. you'll be forced to point to bug or worse brush it off them. Now if the lad is listening to his mp3 player - then you'll probably have to point and demonstrate. there's no way round it. If your willing to put up with all the hassle then as soon as you see the problem, tell 'em.

Smile and ask them do they like the breeze? If they don't get what you're trying to say, tell them to look down.

depends who they are? if a family member...straight away, but if its someone who annoys you at times, i wouldn't tell them, id let them walk around with them open (oooh im evil, lol)
