...to accept a gift?
I know people who almost refuse to accept a gift or help without asking, "I'll get you back next week." or "I can't take this."
Sometimes I just want to pick up the bill at lunch and it ends up a big fight. I used to be bad about accepting as well. Usually I'll refuse once, then say, "ok."

I'am someone thats always hated getting gifts. Can't help it, been like that since a little girl.
May have something to do with not wanting to feel indebted to anyone.
With age I have learnt to accept gifts more gracefully .
At the same time I love to buy for others and am generous with family & friends.

I dont take any gift till i am forced...if the gift is too good then i will make a surprised face n put my hand ahead!!!

I can't accept gifts from residents but hey! I'll accept them from anybody else!!!!

I love to give gifts !!!!!
I give them all the time !
My gift is to give & see
their smile or happiness.
I'd love to give a gift to
someone so very special,
but, O well ...... I'll just have
to be content on giving her
