Most peple who follow a religion whether its catholic, christian, islam, voodoo whatever are just normal nice people going about there daily lives. Its the minority of psycho extremists that act like freaks, and not just the islamic extremists but the catholics and even non religious beliefs like animal activists that take things too far with riots and crazy stuff. I dont know any islamic people, but I do know that most of them are just like you and me, and are NOT the psycho angry tea towel, cave dwelling freaks that are shown on the tv.

It is a religion that is worthy of respect as is any other; people's beliefs should be respected... I advocate this most vehemently but I also advocate the right, freedom and liberty of others to worship free of constraints, duress or threats, etc... or the right, freedom and liberty NOT do so if one wishes.
If YOU were to respect others' beliefs, maybe they would reciprocate and respect others' rights, freedoms and liberties, too.
