Is the latest version of itunes any good? Also if it does download, does it simply upgrade the version on your PC and protect what yo already have there?

I really like it! It is different though, much different. The only thing is that it takes very long to load, not songs but when you first click on the shortcut it takes long to start. And yes, it simply upgrades.

I have not downloaded it. Although I have downloaded a couple of other versions and have not had any problem with it.
It just upgrades itself and does not seem to destroy my music.
It is good to back up all purchased material though.
One never knows when the computer might do something ignorant on its own.

itunes 7 looks real cool. however some people have been having trouble with it. The CD cover flow is cool. But it is making my computer run a little slow. When it downloads it keeps all your current songs. nothing gets deleted

Ita also has a cool way of viewing your Album art, track by track, worth it alone to download it!! I have to say though I'm having problems watching video in large frame when I never did before :(
