Spiderman (Maguire) and of course Batman Begins. Both have done the comic to film excellently. Everything else has been a let down ( yes even x-men) Even if the adaptation is boring the film must ring true to each concept and not bow down to commercialism (usually from the Yanks!)

So normally I'm a Marvel fan through and through so I would like to say Spiderman or Xmen (my favourites) but I think it has to be Batman Begins. Fantastic character development and a new take on an old story, a great film.
Just like to add Fantastic four was by far the worst to come out since Batman and Robin.

How stupid is Captain u . s . going to look in his mask and wings on his head? and how are they going to do thor? what i recommend is even as he flies and his cape is flowing and lightning erupting from his hammer is it going to be completely cgi. i think even as they try this that it takes quite some the realism out of it and turns into extra laptop sport like. which comprise superman and the hulk. at factors you would possibly want to be sure even as they replaced from actual actors to pcs. it spoils the entire surroundings of the movie for me. yet another one i'm dreading is the hot Justice League action picture, for an same causes. and the idea of not having an same actors that play batman and superman now heavily isn't contained in the movie. it really is a enable down and would not in good structure nicely with me. i might want to bypass on... the record is countless!!!

Fantastic Four was actually quite good (very close to the comics) despite it being branded as a poor film.
Spider-man was great, but they mucked up a bit on his powers. In the comics he had web cartridges instead of them coming out of his wrists (and so missed out on the running out of webbing as inopportune times).
Hellboy was probably one of the best Ron Pearlman (Hellboy) not only had the physical presence to carry off the role, but he got the character spot on.
