how long after unprotected sex can you do a blood test to see if tyour pregnant?
my friend went and done a blood test 15 days after unprotected sex, would a blood test come up positive that quick?

I'm assuming you're talking about a blood preg test. When I asked my doctor she told me to wait till I had a missed period, and I should have a positive pregnancy test first. However, if there is any reason you may want to go on the pill or you're on medication they will do it sooner. I think blood work comes up 5 days sooner than a hpt.

You should wait until you've missed a period so it depends on your cycles. If you have any other pregnancy symptoms you can go a few days before you've missed a period and ask for a cumulative HCG blood test. This test will tell you how much HCG is in your system, if any at all. I would wait at least 12-15 days after b/c if you are pregnant you have to wait for implantation to occur and give the hcg hormone a day or two to show up in your blood. Hope this helps.

-You can ONLY wait FOR 5:9 days by doing Blood pregnancy test "HCG serum level" it is very accurate than all other tests and can be done before next period "you will not need to have missed period" as test become positive after 5:9 after fertalization "sperm get into ovum"
but it will cost you much
- you only should have prophylactic antibiotic aganist sexually transimmeted diseases as metrnidazole and tetracycline for 7 days

What do want this test for? If it is for pregnancey then wait for 6 weeks.If you want HIV test then go ahead.
