With limited resources, a really full on weekend so no time to think of anything. I havent even got a scarf for a bandana. Cant find eye patch or even elastic to make one. Help! Any ideas. I really feel like a bad mum when it comes to dress ups. I am too logical and not creative enough.

Cardboard cut-out of a sword. Wrap it in foil.
Make a matching dagger the same way.
Make a bandanna out of an old black shirt.
Use sting and a piece of leather or other thick material to make an eye patch.
Tear some older, plain colored clothing. It should be bigger than your kid usual size. Be sure to cinch the clothing with a belt.

Welcome to my world....I am not a creative type either. I was in Zellers (Canada) yesterday and they had a Pirates of the Caribbean hat with Capn Jack dreadlocks attached. It was so cool! The equivalent chain is Target...check it out as the Halloween costumes are out already.

Good luck, matey, arrrgh!
