Hey, it's only the Catholics!! Orthodox Christians have nothing to do with what the Pope does or says, OK?

When the world finally realizes that all this bulls**t about religion is the most childish, insignificant, and artificial element of life on this planet, it may be too late to keep millions of people from destroying each other. As far as I am concerned, it is not Christians alone, it is all organized religions that are wrong. To base the lives of living humans on the superstitions of power crazed historic figures who may or may not have really existed, is ludicrous. The human beings who have been freed from the mind control of the Bible, Torah, Goran, or whatever text is supposed to be " holy" are at peace with everyone else in the world, most of all, themselves. These religious crazed people around the world would do everyone a great favor if they forgot everything the cleric taught them about the exclusive nature of their "beliefs."

I believe will not be happy until they illuminate the infidels. That's us. The majority of the U.S. population. A short while back a cartoon set them off. I would imagine we haven't seen the last of this. I am a christian and see the day when they will terrorize us into being afraid to attend our churches. Hard to believe that they,as the Pope said, spread their religion by the use of a sword.

No we're not asking for a religious war. It is Islam that has been crying for one (Jihad=Crusade).

Don't be upset. We're going to give you what you been asking for these last 50 years. There's 2 years left of Bush's presidency. We can kill off a whole lot more of you and your kind than you could ever dream of hurting here.

Catholics do not want a war. We are like everybody else...come on....everybody in the U.S. knows it ,too. The Muslims would love to upset the way we all live amongst one another despite our religions and races. It will effect us only if we let it. They have to start with us, the superpower, because they know we will defend anyone's freedom.

Just because the Pope said something about muslims please do not group all christians as being like this. I am a christian but the Pope is not someone i look up to or anything like that. I believe in many things being a christian and one of them is to try to be like Jesus, which means forgiveness, loving one another etc. Try not to group all christians as the same, just as i dont group all muslims the same.

No, the pope used words, the muslims use bombs.
At least 2 churches were blown up by muslims after that.
I dont see christains blowing up muslim stuff. Muslim holy sites are strictly off limits to US forces.

yes because then they will grab the Temple Mount and that fulfills their prophecies that some god will return to earth.

Sad and pathetic, but no more so than muslims still wanting to kill the infidels (when most of em live in the west and enjoy its wealth and freedom)

how does quoting an arbit emperor from the middle ages affect ur psyche? do u really take what he says as true. i agree that the pope should've clarified his view, but when he quoted an emperor, he wasn't saying something untrue!!!
