openly apologize to the subject of my last question here...It was never my intent to imply that she would ever hurt her child, having watched her with him, I know her to be a very loving mom. Over the past several weeks, her personal stress level has been all over the place for various reasons, and I had not realized just how much her dog had a calming effect on her. She is not abusive to either baby or dog, and has recently found a better balance between them. I am very proud of her, and at the same time a little ashamed of myself for having doubted her in the first place. I am sorry.

Thank you for that. I know that it was not your intention, and I accept your appolgy.

And to the person who said a dog should not be in the house when a baby is present obviously does not have a loving dog like I do and does not understand the human-dog relationship. So you should not butt in with something you have no knowledge of.
