- Run over it with your car or truck.
- Shoot it several times with a large shotgun.

If you are meaning 'unobtrusively' you don't want anyone to know,,, pull ot the cords on the inside, pull out the memory, the processor... 'after you unplug if of course.. if you don't want it to be fixable ever again you can use any one of the prior ideas.. What is your reason for wanting to break it.. ?? if you want a new one and you don't want to look guilty.. try my ideas... if you want more.. just ask..

If you want a subtle breakage, then you could just rip the **** out of the hard drive and put it back. That one's great on computer illiterates XD
