AHMEN, if the flood gates are not closed soon all the English natives will find themselves stood on a beach because there is no more room.

i used to be proud to be english now im sorry to say that feeling is vanishing, Im english born and bred and can trace my roots back generations.
England should start standing up for itself, stop being a doormat,
i am sorry that people in other countries have such appalling lives but we have to stop all the people coming here.
We have a right to keep england english, i dont want my children to learn another religion or be told they cant have a normal christmas, i have a golly wog, i wont be told i cant call it that!

Yes. Englishness is dying on it's feet. We've over-done the ex-colonial guilt complex and lost our own national identity in the process. Our politicians are either powerless in the face multi-national corporations or complicit with them as thier is more money to be made in globalisation than patriotism.

Yes the UK is dying a death, there are too many do gooders want-en to help every minority as to not cause offence to anyone or anything for that matter. I have given up on the so called place called Great Brittan, because in my eyes its no longer great!

I know that the average British man in the street gets a raw deal - working low hours, low pay, high taxes few decent jobs out there, having to compete with immigrants for basic jobs, while any scrounging asylum seeker who comes here gets all the freebies he can handle.
The Police are inept and the place is overrun with crime. Political correctness means that there is racism against British Whites. If a White man gets beaten up by a Pakistani (as happened to a friend of ours) nothing gets done (for fear of the "race" card" being played against the police by the perpetrator) , but if its the other way round its front page news!
Fanatical Muslims are ranting and raving and threatening us. But noone does anything about them for fear of being called "racist".
I'm Welsh and this place has gone to hell as well as England. People here need to stop worrying about the Welsh language and look at the rampant crime and immgration. Noones buying houses in Cardiff anymore, too expensive and too many immigrants. Half of the rental property is in hte hands of crooked foreign landlords and the council and housing association property is only available to asylum seekers and immigrants. There's sod all in the way of decent work in Cardiff too. And way too many foreigners trying to take the jobs.
Tony Blair is useless. We need a real leader.

I agree with all of that but we are now a multi-cultural country apparently!! I have nothing against people coming over but they need to respect our country, they wouldn't like it if we went to their countries and over took towns and cities and built churches and what not and also to ask for benefits and get councils properties cheap!!
As i said i have nothing against anyone but its all about respect for everyone around you!!! We do seem to be dying though but i guess times change!!

It's a strange kind of dying what with the booming economy and drastic increases in standards of living accross the board over the last 10 years. Personally I love the fact that the UK is multicultural and I love the fact that we have such a thriving immigrant population. This kind of nationalism is xenophobic and insular.
And Dr Venkman is Bill Murray's character from Ghostbusters :D

I agree with you. Whats happened to our wonderful country. There seems to be a whole host of answers to this. Too many immigrants. The breakdown of the the family unit, the lack of faith in God, the emergence of the the gay community, I could go on and on. Try to go into any major city on a Friday or Saturday night night, and you take your life in your hands. I wish I had a answer for you, but I don't.

Oh do stop your narrow-minded, worry-worting, pessimistic whining. If you really cared about our beautiful country you would be celebrating all the things it has to offer. I wouldn't live anywhere else in the world (although it's great to visit other places and meet different people.)
Maybe you should do the same - it might open your mind a smidgen.
