Sorry , I should of said; any PHONELINE (not just a carrier service like toucan, where BT still own the line) and "apart from BT, Bulldog AND Cable such as NTL or Telewest.

Being a Contractor working for BT you will very rarely find any new build estate with any type of cable tv services as they are not prepared to spend/invest money on new estates. So in a nut shell you are stuck with BT and £126 bill for a new line install. And a peice of advice don't ask BT to check your extentions (which should have been wired up by the builder) as this will be another £70 + vat per socket! Good Luck in your new home!

NTL are ok and Telewest have some great deals.

To not answer your question though, I quite like BT's service.
Not sure they look after their customer's loyalty so well tho.

apart from the city of Hull,BT own almost all telephone lines in the UK so you have to go with them unless you have cable tv.
