Benny Goodman is obvious. I have a 4 cd set of Charlie Christian playing with Goodman and the sound is remarkable for recordings from the early 1940's.
I have a more modern Clarinet player, Brad Terry, with another great guitarist, Lenny Breau.
Also go to Allmusic.com where you can look up other artists.

Rahsaan Roland Kirk was an adventurous musician. He usually played saxophones, but sometimes played clarinet. Rahsaan gets the most out of his instruments.

The album Prepare Thyself to Deal With a Miracle has some great clarinet by Rahsaan.
Rahsaan also plays a little clarinet on the Jaki Byard Experience album.
