Well I think it would be a better idea to have one where people wanted to learn or are interested, rather than insult and be aggressive.
There are many adults on this site who use it to portray disgusting ideas and their aggressive nature.
However, you cannot distinguish these users until they ask or answer a question.
As for the "teen-no-brain-duds"...I think it is a good idea they are on here. I mean I hate people who are aggressive, but hopefully it will teach them something...and change their behaviour. Yes, I am aware that is something of a fantasy!!!
I am actually a teenager as such...currently studying for my A levels in England.
I use this site to expand my knowledge and to learn about others and their cultures.
I enjoy learning and think if everyone knew more about each others beliefs there would be less ignorance and racism because of it.
But I think the adults only section would be rather dull, not all teens are "brain-duds", some are more intelligent than adults, and can give a different perspective.
Maybe you should rephrase your question slightly as it could actually insinuate aggression on your part, although I do see what you mean.
Good luck campaigning for that, Becky x

Good Sunday morning Annette,
You ask a good question. It would not be a sure thing, but some chat groups are set up by age and the user selects the age group they want to participate in. Yahoo Answers is field selectable by nationality so I do not think it would be difficult to change the format to include another option for teens, 20-50, and 50 plus or something like that. It would be interesting to see how the same question is answered by demographics, and Yahoo would know also.
Thanks for asking, have a great day.

Because the only efficient way of getting age is buy taking a credit card number...I wouldn't put mine on Yahoo! Oh, and the kids would probably just nick their parent's ones anyway.

You can not keep children off of a site like this because they are more clever at getting on to a site than we are at keeping them off it.
