y^2=4/25

y=2/5

ok, that's a tough one, but let me try this:
we know how to get to zero from 4. we just subtract.
so that means that 25y squared = -4.
we don't know what y is so go for the cube of it.
the cube is 5y. so what times 5 is -4?
wait a minute. i'm thinking. don't have a calculator so i'm guessing about -.75.
does that work? i don't know. try it. it's close anyway.

25y2+4=0
25y2=-4
y2= -4/25
y= +or- the square root of(-4/25)

y= +or-2/5i

Divide both sides by 25. Then take 4 away from both sides and then find the square root of y and the sum.

maybe the problem is wrong , or you can't solve that in the real numbers multitude, perfect square number is always positive but here square y is negative 4 divided to 25 ,and you can't determine the square root
