Why is it important to understand the cultural differences and diversities within a team?

Awareness and understanding of others is a very valuable tool in today's society. To make your self aware will put you one step ahead. Other cultures have different perspectives and ideas of situations. We need to be aware of these differences in attitudes and ideas, In order to have a better understanding of those within our groups. This will make for a more cohesive setting.so as not to upset and have a better understanding of where they are coming from. Knowledge is a very valuable key, you can never have to much understanding of others views, this will open your mind, make you less bias and being more informed is always a good thing.
