Trying to learn to hook a ball into the pins

place your thumb in the hole that is by it self, then place your rude finger in the hole on the left and the finger next to your pinkie place it in the hole on the right

thumb goes into big hole and two middle fingers go into the two smaller holes, for a start. hooking the ball is done by flicking your wrist slightly(counter clockwise if you are right handed and clockwise if you're left)at the release of the ball. other things that effect the ball travel is to keep your shoulders square to the lane. if you drop your bowling shoulder, it effects the direction. your follow-thru also effects the ball travel. when you release the ball, keep your arm going like your going to reach for the head pin. and practice, practice, practice

Place your last 3 fingers(thumb side) and try to swing your bowling ball in the middle part and then you practice more.

put you thumb in the lowest hole. put your second and third fingers in 2 holes on top
