Religion is a man made form of worship to God. FAITH is a true belief and understanding of the individual as the mind allows. There are so many religions but there is NO ARBITER on this planet that can answer the question, assuming there is an answer. My FAITH allows me to know that an answer will be had some day. The study of Philosophy would help all of us.

Because religion is a belief, the only true religion will be inside your mind.
Based on my experience and insight, the belief espoused in the STAR WARS movies, "THE FORCE," may be the closest to describing what is going on in the Universe.
Humans need a religeon to help them cope with a world of unanserable question.
My personal belief is that photons, which do not experience the passage of time, may be the medium from which "god" is composed.
Take a look at the face of the sun http://www.n3kl.org/sun/index.html
focus your eyes on it (the image on your monitor from that website, not directly at the sun) and try to relax/clear your mind.
Remember that it takes 8 minutes for your thoughts to reach the sun. And also that the photos are not true real time, thay are a few hours old.
Just before Katrina, the surface of the sun had a huge rotating sphere on it.

All religions are fantasies, not truth. Guatama the Buddha was agnostic, so his original religion has that much going for it. He said it is futile to speculate about the existence of gods when one can use his time much better to improve his life now. Someone said Islam has been around since before Jesus. Wrong, Mohammed founded it about 600 years after Jesus. It is one of four offshoots of the ancient Hebrew religion. Judaism and Christianity are older. Mormonism is much newer. One of these four is as good, i.e. as bad and untrue, as the others. There is no logical or scientific proof that any gods exist, but there is much evidence against it.

Most religious people are out and out liars, Why? because as far as god is concerned they do not know the truth and they preach to you as they do know the truth. Now I will ask you an honest question. Who Knows more about God Than you? another Question, who living, or dead or who will live in the future will know more about god than you? I hope you will have concluded that many people have beliefs but no one really knows the answer in fact there is not one, morsel or scrap of proof that their thoughts on god are anywhere near to being more right than your thoughts on god.
As far as the different religions are concerned everyone Knows more about the myths than I do. What a loss.

There is no one truth that is right for all. I believe that there are many paths to the same God and that each of us has the opportunity to find the path that is right for us.
I do believe that there are a few common themes that run through all and that we should each consider applying to our lives. They include:
1. The Golden Rule: Do on to others as you would have them do onto you. This principle exists in one form or another in all major religons. It is a great premise to live by.
2. Love thy neighbor. Really the same thing . . .

as a muslim , i can just type it " ISLAM " , but i know that wouldnot help.
first of all u should know that if u believe in GOD , u should also believe that he is the most merciful .so if u start honestly searching for him and trying to find ur way as possible as u can , whatever the result u get , GOD will know that u loved him , wanted him , tried hard to get to him.
may be the mattar is " how to search for the truth ?!! "
and the answer i can give : ask , read , be clear and honest with ur self and follow ur feelingd . donot forget that u r a human being with limited powers and brain .
GOD didnot want us to kill ourselves searching for the absolute truth!
he wants us to be good and happy human beings , try to read about islam
