This means you follow the Panspermia debate yes?
Evolution according to Darwin occured on Planet Earth. Sorry evolutionists but where did the amino acids come from?
Fundamentalist right wing Christians would have you believe the Book of Jewish Fables they call the Old Testament. Sorry Christians, but I don't believe books about "GOD" written by mere men.
Panspermia is the theory that the building blocks of life, amino acids, arrived on comets and meteorites and the conditions proved right for it to evolve.
Somewhere between Evolution and Panspermia lies the answer.

From evidence gathered from the fossil record, geology, geography, and genetics the answer to that question is a resounding no. Human evolution can be traced from Australopithecus Afarensis through the homo line all the way to homo seipiens.
All the fossils from this line are found in the right places both chronologically and geographically, the only place in the line this is not the case is the gap where the chimpanzee and homo lines diverge. Such a smooth fossil line would not exist if we were plonked on the earth suddenly.
I hope I have been of some help.

humans evolved here from lower forms of life but there is some debate as to weather or not life was carried here on comets and astroieds as these carry the amino acids which are the building blocks of life

The bible says we were put here (Adam & Eve) but scientists have proved that to be wrong, we've reached this stage through evolving so goodness knows what we'll look like in a thousand years.Personally, we came here from mars when it started decaying, (we could fly then)

At what stage of evolution would that have happened?
I often think that our sole purpose in the universe was the creation of the fruit topped cheesecake, and one day the aliens will come and get the recipe and that will be the end of us.
To late now of course, we have cheesecake and nothing is ever going to take that knowledge from us.
It's all over now.

The fact that we share 90% of our DNA with the great apes, and have an evolutionary record going back 200,000 years, with other off shoots that died out, about answers the question. We also share about 50% of our DNA with earth plants. really. and you know how long they've been here. Hundreds of millions of years.

We were not brought here, beause the other intelligent species that made us was already here on earth and that species was the earthworm. So stop drowning them to catch fish.

Oh come on! Isn't this all about wishing Father Christmas and the tooth fairies were real.
We are alone, we are not very important. Get over it.

My parents are both scientists so it's quite possible that they made me as some kind of experiment. I don't think they came from outer space, though, but I haven't asked them.
