Wrestling is rehearsed drama. Yes, the participants do jump and punch and grimace but the performance is a well executed. I had an uncle who was a Champion Wrestler back in the 20's when performance wrestling was real. If you are looking for some real wrestling go to some of the college venues. There wrestling IS REAL and is exciting.

In regards to the storylines, outcomes and feuds, it's mostly fake. In regards to injuries and risk factors it's mostly real. The line does get crossed on occasion. Example: Shawn Michaels and Bret Hart really didn't like each other personally. Triple H and Michaels really did have a falling out for a while. On the other side of the spectrum, there have been many documented cases where a wrestler gets "injured" in the storyline because he/she just can't stand being away from home any longer. It depends on who you ask. It goes both ways. The show itself is fake. The danger a wrestler puts him/herself in every time they decide to fly off whatever is real.

The amazingly athletic moves and prowess of the wrestlers are very real. Most of the risks are very real. The story lines and wins are scripted.
I, and I believe most fans, watch wrestling because you get to see amazing athletes do amazing things on a semi-routine basis. These people are in a peak physical condition, and do things you are unable to see anywhere else. It's fun to get caught up in the story lines and guess what's going to happen next, even though you know it's scripted.
Some of the wrestlers are even half decent actors, and make the story lines that much more interesting. It really is a spectacle unlike any other in the world, and amazingly fun to watch and participate in.

American wrestling (WWE)? of course it's fake! But very well acted/choreographed I must say, even though I hate violence, staged or otherwise. What I really disagree with is the fact that they get the kids believing it's real.

I'll just make it simple,it is cheorograph but the injuries are real, the moves they do is real. They are professionally trained to take the pain and performed it,so don't try this at home.
