i suspect that you are not altogether sure if your plant is "dead" or not , so as opposed to those other knockers , i'd like to suggest that you try these methods to bring your plant to life . see if you can transplant into a larger pot and give it plenty of water in a rich acid soil and enjoy its orchid like flowers in the summer .

If you've mastered the art of reincarnation you are doing better than anyone else I know.....No you can't revive a "dead" plant, once its dead that's it the poor thing has passed on to the garden in the sky. Buy another one and look after it this time.
