A man lives on the thirteenth floor of a block of flats, everyday he gets in the elevator at ground level, gets out at the seventh floor and walks the other six floors to the top. But when he goes out, he goes from the thirteenth floor down to the ground floor, why?

he lives on the thirteenth floor which is clearly bad luck so every day he visits the seventh floor to balance out the whole good luck bad luck thing!

He has to go to the ground floor to go out. Unless he jumps from a window higher up!

the guy is a midget and can't attain the 10th floor button on his very own, yet while that is raining, he can use his umbrella, or if there is somebody else interior the elevator, he has them push the button.

that doesnt state he goes down in the elevator, just the literal fact he has to travel down all the floors. he has to go all the way down to get out.
