Taboo is defined by societal norms. Therefore the answer should be based on your sexual partner. (Not you, because u asked the question!)
If your partner is conservative, then it may well add intensity, or it may backfire and work the other way if he/she feels uncomfortable.
If your partner is liberal, then the answer is 'no'
