I love every film directed or written by Charles Kaufmann (especially Adaptation, Being John Kalkovich and Confessions of a Dangerous Mind) - he's a genius with allusions and twists, strange characters and philosophical questions. I have one SMALL problem with Eternal Spotlight and that's Kate Winslet's voice - I simply don't like it. But that's about it. The film might appear a bit confused but in the end everything's perfectly clear - it's set in a Kafkaesk scenario - with the characters being delivered to a process/froce they cannot understand and Kaufmann succeds in transferring their confusion to the audience. What more do you want?! Not in my general top ten but in my top ten comedies.

Was a very good movie and for me I found it especially poignant because quite frankly it's something I wish I could do. I watched I suppose at the perfect time in my life,in love with someone who suddenly decided she no longer shared that feeling. I suppose all of us have thought it would be easier if we could just forget someone, most of us get over it,but sometimes love really is always cause I still feel that way 5 years later. Unfortunately in this real world the only real way to erase someone from your memory also means you won't be getting on with your life afterward if you know what I mean.

Had I not gotten comps to go see it, I might never have seen it.
Good thing I did, `cos it was excellent.Great concept!
I loved it for the fact that it was the perfect blend of a mainstream and an art movie. Really made me think.

That`s also why I loved Napoleon Dynamite

Nearly didn't watch it cos I can't stand Jim Carey pulling all his faces!!

But what a great film with some really great twists!!

So much better than the usual big name cheese that comes out of Hollywood!!

I think it is a very innovative and fun, but serious romantic movie - one of Jim Carrey's best! It basically tells the story of 'it's better to have loved and lost than to not have loved at all'.

I did not like the movie, especially the part when he was a little boy and killed the pigeon with a hammer. That totally grossed me out. For some reason, was it me or did the camera angles seem to be shakey? It was giving me a headache.

I thought the concept was interesting. And it was nice to see Jim Carrey in a good dramatic role.
