Peru is 110V/60cycle. If your shaver is 110/220 you won't need a converter but you will need an adapter.

Peru works on the american style plugs so I think you would need the standard two way adapter - can be bought all over the place

I reckon if you stay in a good hotel, they will have a shaver socket in the bathroom.
I stayed in Brazil recently, and all the hotels had shaver plugs next to the wash basin.

as i recall you guy have funny looking plug in UK brings adapter and converter just to be in the safe side

They use a two pin 110V sockets. Some places have converters and adapters. However, to be safe, takean adapter and converter.
