Yes I have. The saddest part for most suicide survivors is we never truly know why they did it. Most people who commit suicide do so because they feel there is no other answer for them. They feel that their problems are to big to fix or they have done something wrong and can not be forgiven, and it is all in their mind. We sit here and look back and say why?? and we go over their lives and their days with us and we can not see why they felt this way or what they were feeling. We listened when they talked but like in my case they stopped talking and no one could reach them they had gone so far into themselves...I hope if your thinking of suicide you will find a friend, family member you look up too, priest, minister, rabbi, to talk to talk till your blue in the face,,but please please don't leave us behind don't give up on us or yourself just yet life is short enough as it is don't help it along..A shoulder for you to cry on, arms offering you a hug, a heart that says I love you, a reminder you are special to someone.

One of my best friends did and I'm still mad at her for doing it. It's too soon for me to talk about it. I have known of many in our town of 9,000. Our town built a new cemetery because the old one was full. In this new cemetery, the first to be burried was a suicide. It has been five years since that day. When we drive through the new cemetery we see one after another that has committed suicide. In a small town like ours we pretty well get all the details. Most have over dosed. One after many years of problems went out side on a cold winter night and went to sleep in 6 degree temperature. Some just can't cope with life and their marriage isn't working out. Some leave no reason. Now that you have made me think about it I want to count how many there are. There are deffinitly too many for a town the size of ours. I worked in Domestic Violence for 16 years. I know associates that I think this should be pointed out to. Maybe they can make a difference. Everyone knows every one here in town. Good question. Why did you ask this question. If you are having a problem with your life, please go see some one you can talk to. I answered your question so please do this for me.

One of three reasons, all fear based:

1)To punish someone, these people leave a note blaming everyone.

2)Because they feel like a burden to others, sometimes these people leave a note apologizing for being a burden.

3)Because they feel that they are unable to deal with the issues facing them, or tired of the continued battle day in and day out. Life is like spinning plates, you manage to get one spinning an then there is another issue with another and so on till you give up and they all crash and break.

You sound like someone who lost someone to suicide. I have as well. Death is not the end. Energy cannot be destroyed it can only change shape. God is just; He made our sense of justice. At the end all things will be sorted out and justice will prevail.

PS You are going through a difficult time of stress, find a counselor for a vent. Pastors do it for free.

It was a long process. He got a DUI in college, which was not a major big deal... until he got another one some months later. His parents used the remainder of his college fund to pay the lawyers to keep his butt out of jail, so he had to drop out of school--and academia was his passion. Then his girlfriend left him and that was sort of the last straw. He hung himself.

my husband commited suicide becasue he lost his high-paying job to this son-of-a-***** who betrayed him. it was really a big blow to him since he's always been such a workaholic. At the same time, he couldn't get rid of his gambling habits. Debts were chalked up and in the end, he chose to end his life. i didn't even have the chance to talk to him about his problems.

A friend did. He wanted to come to peace with it all, he had already pulled his own eyes out & couldn't take it anymore.
