If the router is a wireless router, then yes.
If not, either ditch the router and buy a wireless router or buy a wireless access point and connect it your current router.

Yes you can, and it doesn't matter what router you have. If you have a wireless one then of course it's not problem, however I'm assuming you don't otherwise you wouldn't have asked the question. In this case you need to buy a wireless ethernet bridge (if your laptop doesn't have wirless) or a wireless access point if it does.
The wireless ethernet bridge allows you to plug in your laptop to a box using an ethernet cable, and attach an other box to the router, the two boxes are connected wirelessly and therefore you have a wireless internet connection from two normally wired devices.
The wireless access point is plugged into the router and accepts wireless connections from your wireless enabled laptop.
Hope this helps!

Sure can - that's just what I did - but unless your are currently using a wireless router you are going to have to replace it.
When you get your 'new' router - it is also going to have wired ports like the one you currently have, but you will also be able to connect your laptop. This worked really well for me because my daughters also each have a computer - which also use the wireless connection.

both of two approaches. you will get a router with on the spot and stressed ports; a conventional this style of with 4 stressed ports plus a port to hook up with the broadband modem might want to be had for US$40-60. (The pc device might want to connect through ethernet to the router, fairly than on to the modem.) Or, you may placed a on the spot card contained in the computer device, and function this is an middleman between the laptop and the community. The operating gadget will help both affiliation.

That depends...
Is your router a wireless one? If it is, then it should be no problem to set up.
Take care to read about the security features before turning on your radio
