What are these designs called and where can I buy these plates?

I believe you refer to Wedgwood. It is a nice design. It is a bit expensive but still affordable. Wedgwood makes very nice plates (China) and crystal with different styles and names so look for Jasperware.

Blue Willow is pretty popular. 2 lovers in a boat, floating past a bridge with 2 birds flying.............it has a really neat story behind it. I collect it. Try searching ebay.

There's a lot of variety out there, and you should be able to buy it just about anywhere. Try ebay, to see some different kinds.
