India is not playing well in anything. Let's face it the rest of the world especially Western countries, Australia, and some other Asian countries are as good if not better than India or Pakistan in the traditional sports which they used to excel: cricket, hockey, squash.
Why?
India's and Pakistan's sports development are archaic and out of synch with the times.

I think that the Indian Team is really distracted by all the stupid advertisments they do and there is a lot of politics in the Indian cricket managment. this just adds on to the pressure on the Indian cricketers and thus resulting in a very very poor performance by the Indian cricket team. I whole heartedly hope that they do well in the next two matches in the DLF cup in Malaysia...:)

India played well against West Indies, but lost thanks to rain. Against Australia no doubt they fared miserably. But who knows how they fare in the next match as is the pattern of Indian cricket team

i think india is getting more negatively affected by the changes in the batting order than anything else.getting pathan at the top of the order and sehwag after him when u r also beleiving pathan to be a batsmen dents the confidence of better batsmen below him.

It will happen. Sometimes the performance is good sometimes bad. I find the INDIAN people also guilty in this respect since they expect century from Sachin in every match, sixes from Dhoni, wickets from Irfan.The Indian media creates too much hype.

BECAUSE AS A LONG TERM PLAN GREG has been dESTROYing indian talented top players.where are players like zaheer,kumble,badani,balaji,nehra gone.
for hocky they need to find a wealthy sposor and proffessional head of federation.in hocky why a drag flicker was not taken along in place of sandeep singh.
