I have checked the power lead. Is it likely to be the power supply or should I check something else?
The power supply is 308439-001 (308617-001) if anyone has any spares.

Do the fans or light on the power switch come on? Of no its prob your power supply. Its atx formfactor so wal mart may have it. If Yes it might be the switch or the motherboard

If you say that it is completely dead. The first, and obvious, thing to check is the power supply unit (psu).

You can get power supplies pretty cheap, best to buy a new one with an equivalant rating and hope that this is your only problem..
