Last day I transfer some files from my mobile phone to my laptop computer. I found a virus in my mobile phone which call random numbers automatically. I scanned my laptop with Norton anti-virus and found nothing. but strange dial_up activities has occured.

Everybody who answered "no" to this question is mistaken. The Symbian Trojans from the CardTrap family install Windows malware on the MMC card. If such an infected card is inserted into a card reader connected to the PC, the Windows malware component can affect the PC. True, technically, only Symbian Trojans do this (none of the known Symbian viruses) - but the capabilityt is certainly there.

A pity that you did not specify which Symbian virus you have found. None of those I am familiar with calls random numbers.

Shouldn't harm the laptop but it may sit on the laptop waiting to reinfect the phone. These kind of viruses tend to be more common on nokia phones.

No, Symbian is too different from Windows to allow that to happen.

No, it is targeted only on mobiles phones.
