I lost my phone a few days ago. Both the holster and phone are gone. Do service providers have a service that finders can get phones back to the owner? Who makes a good holster that can keep the phone with the holster and the holster on you?

Honestly, not very often. Some service providers can track the last calls that were made from your phone and the area that it's in. I had a phone stolen once and I did that but I still didn't get the phone back.. The best thing to do is suspend the service on your phone because whoever found it could be running up your phonebill, nevermind getting personal info and numbers. Hopefully you have insurance on your phone.. report it lost and they'll send you a new one. I don't know what kind of phone you have but holsters aren't 100% safe.. they can fall off when you move around or break if they're made out of plastic. I guess a leather holster would be the best thing for you.. many stores have a big selection such as Best Buy. Good luck.

not very often, rare case.As fas as now there is not any technology being used by any service provider to track lost phones but you can ask service provider to lock the sim card and pin code. so that no one else can use it and there is also possibility of getting it returned back.

some service providers offer a block-up program that lock both the SIM and the phone...

and I recommend getting a tiestring for your phone... you know... the ones you put on your neck

Most people just consider their phone gone and get another one.
