dont worry , your midwife is obviously happy with u and babies progress , everyone is different when pregnant , some ladies get really big and some remain neat , neater is better as after delivery u should get back to ur normal shape in no time .. I have had 4 babies and was neat with them all and my last was 10.6 lbs !.. If you are tall your baby has alot of abdomen space so therefore theres less stretching out the way , hope that made sense !
Good luck & enjoy the rest of the pregnancy , dont let those insensitive people ruin ur special time ...

Everyone is different, as every child and birth! If your Midwife is not worried, everything is fine. I had my son, didn't show, until over 6 months pregnant, and then my belly was like a basketball, and you couldn't see notice I was pregnant, til you either saw me on the side or front. I am also not small framed, more like medium, I am told! I am over 5'10" tall! My son was average weight and length. 7 lbs 8 oz. 22 in long. Easy delivery, then, and now he is 10, and I have more pain, lol! JK!

But, your Midwife, has birthed many babies, and it is her life to know about pregnancy! The other people, do they have degrees in birthing babies? If not, well, you have to have a lot of faith with your midwife, as she is going to be there, when your child is born!

I wish you the best of luck and Congrats! You will do fine, believe in your MidWife, as she believes in you, to help her to push that baby to be born! :-)

Don't worry, you've had all the scans done and they show that the baby is fine. The size of your bump doesn't matter, if the baby is healthy its healthy and a big or small bump doesn't matter. Your midwife has been trained and qualified, if there was something wrong she would tell you immediately. Bump size changes from one woman to the next.

Congratulations for your baby.

Dont worry at all everyone is different. In general though the size of your bump relates to the week of your pregnancy - ie. as you are 38 weeks gone if you get a tape measure and measure from the very top of your bump to the very bottom this will be 38 cms as your bump will grow 1cm every week . i found this amazing when i discovered it. Try it. Lol

when i was pregnant all the way through u couldnt hardly tell - in both pregnancies - the baby was born 8 pound 1 and very healthy - wouldnt worry about it.
If its bothering u why not have a word with the midwife so she can put your mind at ease.

I was very small with all my children, don't worry if you don't look as far gone as you are, just think after you have had your baby you will be back to your normal size quicker..and if there were any concerns your midwife would
discuss them with you.. good luck

believe me you are lucky!! I looked about 8 months gone at 5 months!! Anyway, your midwife will be monitoring you, if you are worried just tell her next time you see her, as long as you are feeling regular kicks i wouldnt worry too much, the last month you really put weight on, but good luck, let us know how you get on.

Everyone is different and bumps come in all different sizes. Don't worry about this, just think yourself lucky! You couldn't tell I was pregnant at all until 5 months and then literally overnight I had a huge bump which just kept getting bigger and bigger. At the end it was so heavy and uncomforable and I was MISERABLE!
Best of luck to you and baby!

Don't worry I was only small in my second pregnancy if you stood behind me you couldn't even tell. My daughter was only 5lb when she was born but perfectly fit and healthy trust your midwife they know what they are doing and don't let worrying spoil your last couple of weeks of pregnancy. Congratulations and good luck.

It's probably just the way your baby is lying. Don't worry, if there was a problem, your midwife would have picked up on it and mentioned it to you. Your baby is fine, honey. Don't stress!
