I've spent a lot of time in the Middle East. Absolutely not. The U.A.E. might be tolerable. At least they allow drinking in the hotels, but Saudi arabia is nothing but a theocratic prison. I'll take Leavenworth or Sing Sing if I must be in prison. thank You!!

sorry for jumping in , which was for guys only. But being a muslim , i strongly belive that ISLAM is the most broad minded and open religion. its just that its being exploited by people.
Its purity can be well-judged by the fact that its the most growing religion.
Be it be Islam , Christianity or any other religion , the fake priest & maulvi tries to give a bad image to socity.
the way people down there are giving negative feedback of Muslim religion, in the same way Muslims also hold bad remarks for chritianity & hinduism. so i think we all need to understand and then repect the beliefs of people. Rather then living in the world which will give them nothing in the end .

If the state/country is NOT ruled according to Islamic laws (syariah) then it is tolerable (eg. Indonesia, Malaysia, Turkey) and in certain Muslim countries it may even be very acceptable (Morocco, Emirates, Jordan). "Islam" has been demonised by the West (media) over the past few years and in the process have implanted "seeds of hate" amongst the Christian West.

A stupid question. It is similar if you would ask me: would I mind to live in USA. Both societies are a little bit crazy.

I would mind. Even though there are lots of benefits for men, I still would like to be free to express myself creatively, to engage in my chosen recreations, etc. I would not like the imposed religious system. Let me be free to believe in God in a personal manner.

Yeah, I can't imagine vanquishing a veiled vamp. Ewww
Oh, wait a minute, I could marry 3 or 4 of them and "do" them all at the same time.
I'm there.

Yeah I wouldn't want to have to bend over 5 times a day.
And I want my virgins while I am alive not after I die.
