No. People everywhere find the conveniency of reading the newpaper whether it be in the car, at the bus, in a shop, at work, home, park, etc. Not everyone enjoys the news on the web or on tv the same.
And how about the Sunday newspaper that you get early in the morning. That with a cup of coffee and a nice breakfast is really nce, don't you say?

yes, i believe the newspaper industry is dying out or will soon/several reasons/most people lead such busy lives they either listen to the radio to and from work, or vegetate in front of the tv/the cost of advertising in papers has gone up 3 fold over the last few years, and many newspapers have such a biased slant one way or another that it turns off a large segment of their reading audience, and the newer generation just doesn't read, period. linda j.

Never. Newspapers in the U.S. are struggling when It comes to turning a profit, and as a result, they are being bought by major newspaper publishers. So the ownership of newspapers is being consolidated into fewer hands.
But newspapers will never vanish.
I read my local paper everyday, and It is a reflection of my city and community. That is something unique and special.
Computers are so "sterile" in comparison.

Never.... the habit of reading printed news is more 'enjoyable' than browsing it off a monitor. Newspaper layouts/formats show more in a glance/page; ads are more attractive; and a clutch of papers is certainly more mobile and convenient as opposed to notebooks.... still a million-dollar industry.

Never, people that supply the material needed would be out of business. Too much money to loose and some do not like to read stuff on electronic gadgets like computers.
