I noticed that if I enable subtitles on my TV, when ever someone swears it is starred out even if its not bleeped.

What is it that worries the authorities about the deaf seeing words spelt out in full?

I guess deaf people can b*tch and complain just as much as hearing people.

the fcc is worried about censorship.... i am a fan of free speech and that goes for tv.

FCC,has its rules.Don't really know unless they are concerned about children.
