It is about intimidation. Notice that Muslim leaders spew vehemence against Jews, Christians, 'crusaders', etc. with no fear of retaliation or demands that they treat others with respect. They have no respect for other religions and that has become expected of them. However, they wish to make others absolutely terrified to 'offend' them.

It is bullying. A part of the psychological domination of societies in the process of subjugating them to Islam.

Muslims did never feel its necessary to burn down christian churches... Even if what Pope said was true, he as a religious character and an idol for Christians doesn't have the right to say those words...Right when Islam's face is very bad between people!...

We all want peace!... I personaly didnt like what Pope said at all... i mean i didnt think he would say that..i tut he is more than that...

Arson under any situations is incorrect and a criminal offense punishable via imprisonment. If completed as a protest, it serves no functional purpose and is seen a desecration. What the Pope mentioned, would or won't have been suited -- i'm no longer attentive to what he mentioned. yet burning a church won't substitute something different than to make the first public attentive to what some ignorant individual does to throw a temper tantrum.

What you have to remember is they are just a small percentage of Muslims.

I think the above answers got it right. Only other thing remains that we capture the perpetrators and ask them what they think they're trying to do. I'd like to hear the interrogations and results.
