Try:
*Heinz Apple Cider Vinegar- Mix 2 tsp. in 1 cup water. Sip it during your meal. In many cases, heartburn is caused by low stomach acid, and the acetic in the vinegar corrects this inadequecy.
*French's Mustard- Aid digestion by using this as a condiment and a cooking ingredient. Mustard's properties for aiding digestion have never been disputed.
*Uncle Ben's Converted Brand Rice- Eating this, which is a food high in complex carbs, absorbs acid in the stomach, relieving heartburn.
*Wrigley's Spearmint gum- The act of chewing gum stimulates the production of saliva, which neutralizes stomach acid and corrects the flow of digestive juices. Spearmint also helps aid digestion.
Here's a STRANGE (and interesting) FACT:
Gastric acid in the stomach is almost as strong as battery acid.

Milk or Alka Seltzer, either one will work, although personally I vouch for the milk part. You can drink it however often you need too. Also sleep on an incline with your head slightly elevated above your heart. Depending on how far along you are, your body doesn't have much room left, so the only place for the acid to go is up. Good luck, and remember, it goes away :) The best remedy is birth, until then try the easy remedies first.

YES!! Simply eat a piece of raw celery. Super cheap, no side effects, works like a dream! Celery is very alkaline and eliminates heartburn. Ever notice it is served with hot chicken wings? It neutralizes the spice. I have told dozens of people about it and they all agree after trying it. There are a few articles on the Web if you look around.

If u have any TUMS... hmm... you could also try to calm the reaction of heartburn by drinking milk ( skim or nonfat) every 1-2 hrs to push the acid back down

Stir a teaspoon of baking soda in a glass of warm water, plug your nose (because it tastes horrible) and slam it back! All my previous pregnancies I had WICKED heartburn and that's the only thing that worked for me! Good luck!
