By saying 106-key board you mean standard desktop keyboard; the answer is no except soldering and programming a custom setup. Desktop infrared keyboards are analog like TV remotes so they can't either.

I think makers purposely making the actual data connection in a way standard plugs can't go in, but Bluetooth keyboards can if there is a Bluetooth radio in your mobile phone and there is a driver in it stating that it is doing Bluetooth keyboard service.

There is an old driver package on soldering your own custom buffer circuit to plug a standard desktop keyb to a Palm III type old serial connector. I've seen no one did the same for other PDA/smartphones

Do you own a computer and have administrator access to the sytem if you do I suggest installing the desktop computer software that came with your handheld type up the stuff into the computer then syncronizing the handheld and computer.
