Deja Vu is French for 'already seen' and refers to that feeling you get sometimes when you feel like you're living something over again, like maybe you've dreamed it. The only way I've heard people use it is when they say. "Whoa, deja vu," or as a joke when someone repeats what someone else has just said or something like that.
Or a glitch in the system, as in the Matrix movies.

It literally means "already seen" in French, and is used to mean the feeling that you have lived through the current situation before. An example would be, "Because Mary had divorced her first husband for infidelity, her new husband's lame excuses about having to work late once again were giving her a sense of deja vu."

Deja vu means that you feel like you've done what you're doing before.
"When Jane wrote to her grandmother about her activities at camp that day, she felt deja vu, as if she had done the same thing before."

It means: seen it before. It is the feeling you get at a certain moment of doing or seeing something you have already done or seen before.
A sentence:
When I saw both of my friends approaching me on the road I experienced a strong feeling of deja vu, it was like this whole event had already happened to me.
