Yes, however, the skin is also hereditary. In other words if your Mother, Aunt, Grandmother all had good skin, then so will you. I am assuming the texture, and also if older, wrinkles. I have seen women who are younger, but am amazed at their older looking face. If you smoke, that is very bad too. You need to do other things, like water is so important, drink plenty of water, that keeps the skin not dry out. Also take some Vitamin A, which is good also for the skin. Keep the makeup off and let your pores breathe. Your question about sleep, something I am not very good at, but as you get older, your body does repair itself during the night, and is between 1:00 AM - 3:00 AM. There are sleep cycles, and if they are interrupted or deprived, then it can affect the skin too. If you do cardio, then you are putting more oxygen in your body, which is good for your skin, however, if you just deep breathe, that helps too. Walking and such, but keep your skin out of the sun too. As you sleep, the body is in a resting period and sometimes if you will wake up after a long sleep, you will see the difference. You cheeks will be pink, and your eyes bright and rested. All your body benefits, including your skin.

Yes definitely. Sleep deprivation affects blood circulation (the body is trying to conserve energy), hence the skin pallor fades. Get a good night's sleep and you will feel and look better!

I believe it does. People say I look paler when I'm lacking sleep. Not too mention the dark bags people get under their eyes.
