You can get pregnant of you miss a pill. Depending on what pill you take, if you have combined pill, you have a 12 hour window to take it, so if you normally take in the morning at 7 and you forget you have until 7 that night to take it. On the mini pill, you only have 2 hours, so again if you take it at 7 in the morning you have until 9 in the morning to take it if you forget. Also some medication can make the pill not work, some antibiotics I think, so if you get any medicine, mention you are on the pill. If you vomit it might not work either!

You are definitely susceptable to getting pregnant. When they are taken correctly, the chance of becoming pregnant is less than 1% when used perfectly, without missing any pill. Typical failure rates are actually 3%. The chance of becoming pregnant increases with each missed pill. I would recommend using a condom along with the pill. Are you in a monogamous (one partner) relationship? If not, I would get checked for STD's. It is also responsible to get checked regardless of your status. Having an STD can potentially affect your fertility down the road or cause you other severe problems. Be Safe!

if you are on the birth control pill it should be taken at the same time every day and should get in to a routine of taking it at the same time. the chances of getting pregnant by having sex and sperm becoming inside you are very high because you are taking the birth control pill every day but not at the correct time you cant have sex and then say ill have my tablet because it could be too late i would check with my doctor before taking any more birth control tablets

YES!!!!!!!!
The Pill is ONLY effective if taken regularly and NOT Missed!
The Pills effectiveness is diminished if you are sick or have a bout of Diarrhea.
You should really consider using Condoms(If Used correctly) as a method of Birth control! They offer protection against STI's (Sexually Transmitted Infections)
Ultimately abstinence is far better than Birth Control!

it varies, lots of women have gotten pregnant on birth control, you should be fine if you miss a pill, just take 2 the next night, time should not be a factor.

I heard that if a contraception is taken within 72 hours after sex then it can prevent pregnency. Consult your doctor if you miss your period. And don't stress too much over it, Stress can delay your period.
