She probably did something as a kid she thinks you are trying to do, to regain her trust simply be up front and honest

My mother never let me go on sleep overs either; she said I had a perfectly good bed at home! Sometimes mothers just don't see things the same way their kids do. You might, without whining, ask her what her reasons are. It may be because she doesn't know your friend's family well enough, or because she thinks you aren't ready for it, or because she doesn't want to feel obligated to have your friend over in return. It also could have something to do with you - maybe she wants to see more mature behavior from you, or more focus on school and less on your social life. Calmly ask her. Then don't argue with her. You can ask if there is anything you could do to make it more likely that next time things would be different. And if there are, and you do those things, it is more likely that you could go in the future, but there are still no guarantees. Until you are an adult and supporting yourself, your parents can call the shots, but you can, by acting maturely, make it more likely that your parents will trust your instincts.

Lola, spend this time reading and practicing your English grammar. It's sorely lacking. By the way, what has a disability have to do with a sleepover? Disabled people don't sleep?

most mothers are girls, umm what does disabilities have to do with anything. She is the parent, and what she says goes, she has a reason.
