my v-spot and mtv overdrive pages quit loading and on it it told me that i needed to download the adobe flash player. Everytime i try it says my installation is complete but then nothing works. please any help would be appreciated. There are several web pages that we cant view because of this problem

i faced the similar problem few weeks ago.
most probably you must not be having service pack 2 installed if you run win xp.
if you have sp 2 installed, then also you get the flash player working then try using Mozilla Firefox. it easily installs adobe flash player and macromedia shockwave player needed to view flash pages.
i currently have firefox installed it works fine.
but still i think you can change settings of IE (tools->internet options) such as "install on demand" to have it working.

but still firefox works best.

in IE change the settings to automatically install plug-ins and disable firewall and virus soft for the short time.It will work

maybe that a problem from the browser !! my firefox dowload thefile and cant set it up 2

maybe you will have to reconfigure your fire wall settings
